Run, Christy, Run,

So.. I want to be a runner. or a jogger. Which ever happens first. I assume jogger because I am slow. I am starting the Couch25K program. You can find it on the cool running website. Basically the program is simple. You will train 3 days a week for 9 weeks. You get a rest day in between training days. You start out with a warm up then you start out alternating running for 60 seconds and walking for 90 seconds for a total of 20 mins. After your first week you will run longer and walk less til you can run a full 30 minutes. I just started this program. Tomorrow is Week 1 Day2. Day one wasn't to bad. At the time I thought so but really it wasn't. I am really slow but whatever gets me there. I want to sign up for a 5k soon. Wish me luck!
